WELCOME!
Request an evaluation if you or someone else, like your parents, teachers, or healthcare providers, notice difficulties in your development or daily life.
Whether you're a teenager, adult, or child, evaluations can provide valuable insights into your current situation. They help identify the type and level of support you may need based on your unique experiences and challenges.
They are qualified professionals in the areas of Clinical Psychology, Speech Therapy, and Occupational Therapy, trained to administer a wide variety of psychological and developmental tests and scales, psychometric and projective tests, neuropsychological test batteries, and specific developmental area tests.
During your evaluation, we'll use scales, questionnaires, and tests to better understand your emotional state, thinking style, and personality. This information, combined with input from your parents, teachers, or caregivers, helps us provide you with the best possible support and guidance.
We use a set of tests to gather information and create a profile of how your brain functions, based on your neuropsychological development. This helps us understand the normal and abnormal course of your development, using what is expected for your age as a guide.
During your assessment, we'll use specialized educational tests to understand your functioning in key areas that impact your learning and everyday life. These include skills like coordination, language, reading, writing, visual perception, memory, attention, and problem-solving.
During your assessment, we'll use tests to understand your level of development and any challenges you may have in specific areas of your life. These include language (articulation, comprehension, expression, pragmatics, verbal fluency, communicative intention), fine and gross motor skills, attention, and concentration.
During your assessment, we'll use the Wechsler Intelligence Scales tailored to your age: WPPSI-III for ages 2 years 6 months to 7 years 7 months, WISC-IV for ages 6 years to 16 years 11 months, and WAIS-IV for ages 16 years and older. This helps us understand your level of intelligence or IQ (Intelligence Quotient).
During your assessment, we'll use specific tests to evaluate your level of development in reading and writing, tailored to your age. This helps us identify any difficulties that may affect your learning in these areas and determine the specific assistance you need.
Brain mappings (QEEG) are a specialized type of electroencephalogram (EEG) that quantitatively measures and analyzes the brain's electrical activity. This non-invasive test does not require a medical referral and records the brain's electrical patterns and rhythms using electrodes placed on the scalp.
